Reaching For The Next Level

Hello everyone, hope you’re doing well. I decided that in order to make sure that this message is seen that I would post this in the main feed. As some of you are probably aware, I’m trying somewhat of an unorthodox, bootstrapping type approach to FourthEye’s financing. While I generally have been willing to play the long game and slowly build this thing up based around the merits of what I post, I sense that some amount of promotion is necessary for the next stage. My goal with this thing is to get all of the resources that I put into it, to at least be covered by what the site produces. My plan, is for this site and the FourthEye project to be fully funded by my audience so that I can focus on generating whatever content I deem to be important or useful, while having total creative freedom and the ability to avoid censorship of any flavor.

Given the current state of the internet with regards to sharing unpopular opinions, I don’t want to be at the whims of some larger platform, or sponsors when it comes to expressing truly important sides of issues, that may be unpopular or politically inconvenient for some party. While it could perhaps be said that the censorship problem is overblown, which may seem probable depending on where you look, the issue is that it can happen, or that I may unconsciously censor myself for fear of stepping on toes. Unfortunately, the truth often requires stepping on a few toes to get to, and while I’m interested in being entertaining, I also wanna generate content that is actually meaningful and that hopefully has a tangible positive impact on my audience.

All of that said, for anyone that finds my content to provide value for them I would ask that you consider becoming a supporter. I have a support page that you can easily access in the main tabs that supports one-time, monthly and annual donations. I also have a Patreon page which can be reached either through my social link buttons, or by visiting “patreon.com/fourtheye”. Beyond purchasing bulletproof coffee or something so I can operate at a peak state, much of this money will be reinvested into the blog or one of my endeavors and will allow me to generate more high quality content, without so much headache about how to balance everything. At some point I hope to be able to sit down and work based on what state I’m in or what is most valuable, rather than what I’m able to get out. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated whether you choose to give a dollar or fifty, you will be part of the reason I can keep doing this. All of my content will remain free and open to everyone, besides my upcoming books or other traditional pay content regardless of whether you donate or not. Simply being a member of the audience or recommending my works to a friend is more than enough to get the ball rolling.
